William has been surveying since 2008. He is dedicated to seeing every project through to finish with accuracy and precision. He values client relationships and enjoys helping them to understand the process from start to finish. He truly believes he has the best employees on earth!

Jacob oversees daily operations with a focus on quality control and client care. As our previous lead crew chief, he is an ideal candidate for the job. With a sharp eye for detail, he ensures every project is completed with accuracy, and strives to create a positive experience for each and every client.

Shellah plays a vital role in keeping our office running smoothly. Known for her organizational skills and reliability, she ensures that deadlines are met, communications are handled promptly, and every client receives attentive service. Originally from Palau, she brings a unique perspective and a warm, welcoming spirit to the team.

Client Operations/Field Instrument Operator

With a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly, Hanna has become an integral part of our team. She is cross trained to support both office operations and fieldwork, where she works alongside her husband, Joel. She is committed to delivering quality work and supporting both clients and colleagues anyway she can.

Senior Survey Consultant

Over the course of Alan’s career, he built and led a successful surveying practice in Tallahassee, FL. William began his career working under Alan’s leadership, which is what led to what is now BDI Surveyors. After retiring from full-time practice, Alan continues to support BDI as a consultant on complex projects and is always willing to step in when additional experience is needed. 

Financial Officer

As a third-generation surveying professional, Elizabeth is proud to carry on the family tradition. She started her survey career managing Alan's office, and then became an integral part in the formation of BDI Surveyors. She has now taken a step back from daily operations, but she still handles accounts receivables and other financial aspects of the company.

As a former crew chief, Sam has valuable field experience that gives him a strong understanding of the entire process from start to finish. He’s an excellent mentor to our current crew chiefs and he is dedicated to the success of our team.

Veronica is known for her commitment to accuracy. She takes pride in her work and ensures every project is done right. She is always looking for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency. Her commitment to learning and continuous improvement make her an indispensable part of our drafting team.

Joel brings a friendly attitude and strong communication skills to every project. He’s a natural trainer, always willing to share his knowledge and guide others in the field. With his excellent people skills, Joel helps keep the team motivated and the job running smoothly.

Tristan is a surveyor with a passion for the outdoors. His expertise in reptiles, wildlife, and trees makes him a valuable resource in the field. Combining his knowledge of nature with his surveying skills, Tristan helps keep the crews safe and the surveys accurate.

Judah is an instrument operator who brings hard work and respect to every job. As a motivated young professional, he is eager to learn and grow in the surveying field. His dedication and positive attitude make him a strong addition to the team.

Drone Pilot

Kevin is our licensed Part 107 drone pilot with a passion for the technology behind the job. He dives deep into the processes and tools that make aerial surveying precise and reliable. His curiosity and technical know-how bring an extra layer of accuracy and innovation to every project.

Phillip brings a positive attitude to every project he’s involved in. He’s a hardworking and humble team member who is always ready to learn and take on new challenges. He consistently puts great effort into his work and has quickly become a valued part of our field crew.
